Elizabeth Jannuzzi is a writer whose work explores themes of loss, motherhood, and recovery from alcoholism. Her essays have been featured in The Rumpus, Memoir Monday, WOW! Women On Writing, The Brevity Blog, and more. Elizabeth was a finalist in the 2016 International Literary Penelope Niven Creative Nonfiction Contest, received an honorable mention in Memoir Magazine‘s 2018 Recovery Contest, was shortlisted for Cagibi‘s 2019 Macaron Prize, and earned a Best of the Net nomination in 2023. Elizabeth is a program manager at Project Write Now, a nonprofit writing organization. Her memoir about her recovery from alcoholism will be published by She Writes Press in 2026. She engages with her audience through a weekly Substack newsletter.
